Monica and Clive parting ways?

R&B singer Monica is rumored to be getting dropped from J Records due to poor album sales. Monica has been with Clive Davis since 1998, and has produced numerous hit records (Arista 1998-2001, J Records 2001-present). Monica sold over 90,000 albums the first week of the albums release. Is it really that serious Clive? Maybe Clive is putting Monica on the back burner for new talent, Jennifer Hudson. I love Monica and wish her the best.
